Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our team has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars. Our prevention oriented practice utilizes the skills of our registered dental hygienists, Julianne and Shannon. Their experience in soft tissue management and therapies helps to keep our patients healthy and prolong the life of their dental work. Our hygienist provide a full range of services including cleanings, digital radiographs, fluoride treatments for adults and children, sealants and oral hygiene instructions. Dental Hygienists JulianneJulianne is from Lisbon, NY. She has been part of our dental team since 2009. First, as a dental assistant, and now as a dental hygienist. Julianne graduated from Monroe Community College as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2012. She is certified in Zoom! Whitening and Logicon. As a hygienist, she enjoys helping her patients develop and maintain a healthy smile. Julianne enjoys cooking, baking, spending time with her nieces and nephews. She also enjoys being the passenger on her husband Tims’ Harley Davison. They reside in Ogdensburg with their dog Joe.  ShannonShannon is from Ogdensburg. She has been a patient of Dr. Mahoney’s since she was a child. She graduated from SUNY Canton as a Registered Dental Hygienist with an Associates degree in applied Sciences in 2010. Shannon has a license to anesthetize and give nitrous oxide, is certified in ZOOM! whitening and trained in Logicon. Shannon has past experience working in a pedodontist’s office treating patients with special needs. She lives in Black Lake and likes to craft, bake and spend time outdoors with her husband Jarret, their son, Isaac, and 2 dogs. Shannon takes pride in making her patients feel comfortable in the dental chair, educating them on the benefits of oral health, and giving them confidence in their smile. Office Staff Lynn - Dental Assistant/ReceptionistLynn grew up in Heuvelton, New York, graduated from Heuvelton Central School, and lives in the village. She began working for Dr. Mahoney in 1996 as Dr.’s nanny and from there felt right at home in the dental office. She loves meeting new people and helping patients have a great experience when visiting the dental office. Lynn schedules appointments, answers insurance and procedure questions and also assists Dr. Mahoney when needed. She enjoys spending quality time with her family hiking in the Adirondacks, gardening, and is a recreational runner.  Julie – Office ManagerJulie is one of Dr. Mahoney’s sisters, and grew up in Ogdensburg, New York. She has a grown son, Justin. As office manager, Julie works behind the scenes with matters of insurance and patient finances. She spends a great deal of time understanding many insurance policies and is relentless in maximizing insurance benefits for our patients. Feel free to approach Julie with any questions you might have. Julie and Lynn work together in scheduling. Julie loves working with people and taking care of their needs at the front desk. Dental Assistant JessicaJessica is from Ogdensburg, New York and a graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy. She has been a dental assistant since 2015, and is experienced in the dental sealant program as well as working with special needs patients. Jessica enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their two dogs. Jessica began working with Dr. Mahoney in July of 2018. Jessica will make sure your visit with Dr. Mahoney is exceptional and professional. |
